It was the start of 2022, Covid restrictions had eased over Christmas and the UK looked to be slowly reopening. It was the middle of January, we had been to the Toy Fair Exhibition in Olympia London, meeting suppliers, and viewing new stock, and had come back enthused and ready to push our business further. We had heard of an opportunity to sell in the middle of The Dolphin Shopping Centre in Poole, just 15 minutes from our home and not too far from where we had previously had our Shop. We initially booked a Saturday, as a trial, traffic was slow to start with everybody still wearing masks and some still observing two metre distancing, people were still being cautious about contact with others.

General confidence had grown by March, we were getting busier, we had return customers that had recognised us from our time at Wimborne Market, The Courtyard Craft Centre or our Things2do Shop on Ashley Rd, Poole. But would this be short lived, normally the sun would come out and Jigsaw Puzzles would be replaced by gardening and general outside activities, selling only a few a week until September when people would again look for a Jigsaw Puzzle for the colder evenings. This year was to be different, so many people and started jigsaw during lockdown, young and old that we are still busy.

it’s now June, and we’re still here, with over 150 Brand New Jigsaw Puzzles each day from Jigsaw Puzzle Companies and Manufactures based all over the World. Find us in The Dolphin Centre in Poole, Dorset, BH15 1SZ every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, 9am-5pm.
